Childhood Dreams: Leek Salad

today, I’d like to share a delicious childhood memory, which is also really good for your body! Since I’m sick a lot even though I eat super healthy (you know that), work out regularly, am outside all the time and don’t really have any stress, I’m constantly looking at how to solve the problem… Then a friend told me that my immune system might not be alright, because the “good” bacteria in my intestine were unhappy… Very interesting, I thought, and after some research, I found out, that this might quite possibly be a reason (because the intestine is our immune system’s headquarter) and that I can compensate by eating particular veggies… Continue Reading

It’s become a nice tradition and we always enjoy the food soooo so much! So, last week we made these red bean (or kidney bean) burgers and were over the moon by their deliciousness! Continue Reading

Poppy Plum Cookies

So, I thought it’s time to share a nice Christmas cookie recipe with you, since it is only less than two weeks until my absolute fave holiday, yay! I developed this one years ago by just putting together some different recipes and these cookies have been one of my faves so far! The cookie itself is not too sweet which the plum jam redeems just perfectly. This year, I tried them with raw brown sugar and rolled oats flour (in order to make them more digestible and a little healthier) which fit just perfectly. The cookies got a little darker in color and the taste got soooo much better! Continue Reading

The cake is super soft and delicious and the vanilla-cream cheese-frosting is very rich but still tastes light and smooth! It’s one of my most favourite recipes when it has to be something special but not fancy… But please try out the recipe yourselves : ) Continue Reading
